Welcome

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. --Let me start off by saying that I really should have payed more attention in my English class in school. Who knew that the written word would have taken over the spoken word. Admittedly I cannot spell and I put lots of commas where they should not go. Since I am being honest here, I also add using my fingers (this drives my husband nuts). Hey, we all can't be math wizzes. So if you can get past all the spelling and gramatical errors you may see some awesome pictures and I will have some fun give aways as well. Check back often to see what is going on in my world. ~Brandi

I survived the holidays…..

but it was a close call.  I never got a chance to share some really great sessions so I will share some highlights of the holiday sessions in the up coming weeks.

These girls were real troopers to meet on New Year’s day morning looking beautiful and refreshed.

Such a beautiful family….

on the inside and out.   I had a great time meeting the B. family and capturing all the love that they share.

I admit it, I don’t necessarily find the desert appealing.  I am a mountain girl, give me trees, a campfire and a good book and that to me is the perfect vacation.  Don’t get me wrong I love Vegas, I love grocery shopping at 2am, I love the spring and fall,  I love that although Vegas has grown so much in the last 15 years it really is still a small town.  But really, as an on location photographer the sagebrush really held no beauty to me.  That was until I convinced L and her 2 beautiful daughters to just trust me and stand near the rusty wheelbarrow and dumped washing machine for some family photos.  The result?  One of my most favorite sessions yet.

Meet the next….

Gap model!  Well he should be anyway.  I could have stayed all day photographing Mr. G.  Hopefully I did not over stay my welcome.

The beach at sunset…….

and a wonderful family.  Meet the H. family, they are the winners of a silent auction package.  I just HAD to do their session on the beach and it was a great excuse to plan a family vacation.

On a bloggin Roll!

Meet the S. family.  Between all the laughing I got some really great images!  I love families like this.  Thanks for letting me photograph your beautiful family.

It does not get any sweeter than this!

I have finally figured out this whole blog thing.  I could not figure out how to post my images the right size, but alas after many late late nights (I work better with no sleep) I caught on to my silly mistake.  *sheesh*

Meet Miss. E. and her Big Sister Miss. A.  I am telling you babies do not get any sweeter.  I had a hard time giving Miss. E. back to her Mom.

Four Generations

Together for such a short time before Grandma and Great Grandma have to return home.  I am sure Little Miss. S. will miss them terribly.  Thank you for allowing me to capture such an important relationship.

The day is here….

my baby girl graduated from Kindergarten today.  I cried……ALOT.  The time just passes so quickly.

Sadly my daughter suffers from Photographers Child Syndrome.  What is that you may ask?  Well it is where the child of a photographer is just so tired of Mom taking pictures.  This is the typical picture I get from her.  She does this odd smile as she is gritting her teeth she will actually say “are you done?”  So today being all about her, I did not try for the natural smile, instead I am embracing this gritting teeth phase.  I just love this girl.  It is an honor to be her mommy.

The Highly Anticipated First Post

And here it is.  I suppose I should have something interesting or groundbreaking to discuss, sadly I have nothing.  But I do have some adorable pictures of Miss. M.  She was slow to warm up to the idea of pictures, but after some “never fail me yet” Smarties candy she was ready to get down to business.  What a cutie!
