Welcome

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. --Let me start off by saying that I really should have payed more attention in my English class in school. Who knew that the written word would have taken over the spoken word. Admittedly I cannot spell and I put lots of commas where they should not go. Since I am being honest here, I also add using my fingers (this drives my husband nuts). Hey, we all can't be math wizzes. So if you can get past all the spelling and gramatical errors you may see some awesome pictures and I will have some fun give aways as well. Check back often to see what is going on in my world. ~Brandi

An idea four months in the making!

Although both the ice cream shop and carousel were closed we managed to pull off our other idea. Meet Miss. P with her beautiful mom and handsome brother.

When your parents look like this….

you have no choice but to be STUNNING! Meet Ms. A. she was so much fun to photograph and already a good listener. I asked that she not make any messes on my stuff. She saved it all for Mom and Dad. Thanks for taking one for the team T and J. :)

I know it will be hard for you to believe but….

I am not technology savvy.  I have been having a hard time posting images on my blog, I had to deal with “the white screen of death” (Google it, it seriously exists) and other technical difficulties.  But I am confident that all problems have been fixed.  So I guess I will have no more excuses for not updating my blog.  Fear not, I am the Queen of excuses.   :)

How cute are these girls?

What a sweet family….

and so patient.  I was totally out of control photographing sweet Ms. S. (the oldest).  The poor girl was probably so tired of me, but she was a trooper.  It is not my fault look how pretty she is.

Thanks M. family for all that you do for our country.

I survived the holidays…..

but it was a close call.  I never got a chance to share some really great sessions so I will share some highlights of the holiday sessions in the up coming weeks.

These girls were real troopers to meet on New Year’s day morning looking beautiful and refreshed.

Such a beautiful family….

on the inside and out.   I had a great time meeting the B. family and capturing all the love that they share.

I admit it, I don’t necessarily find the desert appealing.  I am a mountain girl, give me trees, a campfire and a good book and that to me is the perfect vacation.  Don’t get me wrong I love Vegas, I love grocery shopping at 2am, I love the spring and fall,  I love that although Vegas has grown so much in the last 15 years it really is still a small town.  But really, as an on location photographer the sagebrush really held no beauty to me.  That was until I convinced L and her 2 beautiful daughters to just trust me and stand near the rusty wheelbarrow and dumped washing machine for some family photos.  The result?  One of my most favorite sessions yet.

Meet the next….

Gap model!  Well he should be anyway.  I could have stayed all day photographing Mr. G.  Hopefully I did not over stay my welcome.

The beach at sunset…….

and a wonderful family.  Meet the H. family, they are the winners of a silent auction package.  I just HAD to do their session on the beach and it was a great excuse to plan a family vacation.
